How do I get to The Curious Lounge?
We're located a short walk from Reading train station in the town centre. Detailed directions are provided upon registration, and our team is happy to help with specific travel planning if needed.
Is there parking nearby?
While we don't have dedicated parking, there are several public car parks within walking distance, including The Oracle and Broad Street Mall car parks. Given our proximity to Reading station, we recommend public transport where possible.
What should I bring to class?
You'll need to bring your own laptop for classes although if you don’t have one we do have some Chromebooks that you can borrow. All other materials and resources will be provided, including access to necessary software and tools. A notepad and pen for notes is also provided.
Is there WiFi available?
Yes, high-speed WiFi is available throughout our facilities for all students, supporting multiple devices and bandwidth-intensive applications.
Can I use the facilities outside of class time?
Yes, students have access to our co-working area for up to 50 hours per month while studying, providing a professional space for independent work and collaboration between formal class sessions.
Are refreshments available?
We provide locally-sourced barista coffee and specialty teas. There are also numerous cafés and food options within short walking distance of our location in central Reading.
Is the venue accessible?
